A non-for-profit organization interested in promoting the welfare of the lignite industry. Associate memberships are geared towards associations, cooperatives, educational institutions, municipalities, and organizations that do no derive business revenue from sales or services to the lignite industry. The Associate membership level members do not vote for representatives to the Lignite Energy Council Board of Directors.

Contractor/Supplier Member $ 600

Businesses and organizations that derive business revenue from sales or services to the lignite industry. Contractor Supplier members elect four representatives and four alternates to the Lignite Energy Council Board of Directors.

Major Supplier - Bronze $ 5,000

Businesses and organizations that derive more than $600,000 in business volume/revenue from sales or services to the lignite industry. Major Supplier Bronze members elect one representative and one alternate to the Lignite Energy Council Board of Directors

Major Supplier - Silver $ 10,000

Businesses and organizations that derive more than $600,000 in business volume/revenue from sales or services to the lignite industry. Each Major Supplier - Silver member receives one board seat and alternate seat on the Lignite Energy Council Board of Directors.

Major Supplier - Gold $ 15,000

Businesses and organizations that derive more than $600,000 in business volume/revenue from sales or services to the lignite industry. Each Major Supplier - Gold member receives one board seat and alternate seat on the Lignite Energy Council Board of Directors.
